Orthotics

An overview of the Orthotics and the Orthotic services we provide.

An Orthotist is a medical professional who specializes in the design or orthoses, which are used to modify the structure and functionality of the neuromuscular and skeletal system. Essentially, this means orthotses are utilized for a variety of reasons including to assist movement, restrict movement, reduce load bearing factors on a particular body part, aid in rehabilitation, reduce pain, or correct the form and/or function of a particular body part.

Our American Board Certified Orthotists regularly provide care for Lower Extremity Orthotic, Upper Extremity Orthotic, and Spinal Orthotic patients. We specialize in Lower Extremity Orthotics for Pediatrics, Active Adults, Athletics, Runners and the Elderly. We custom-tailor every orthosis to the specific needs and lifestyle of the individual.
